Bailouts, Budgets and Borders

Everyone wants a bailout. 40 odd states want federal money to balance their budgets. Putting taxpayer dollars into the private sector to keep them afloat, don't think that is a very good idea.

Let's see now. How can we cut our budget. None of this baseline budget cutting BS where no increase in expenses for a program is considered a cut by our wonderfully brilliant elected representative. Let's just cut the budget on every federal and state program by 10% and do it now. My definition of a cut is if your budget is 1M for 2008, in 2009 you need to work with 900,000. Pretty straight forward.

I believe we have millions of illegal aliens living in the country. It doesn't matter from what country they have come from, if they have done so illegally they go home now. Fairly simple to execute such a plan. If you apply for any government assistance, state or federal, show proof of citizenship. No proof put them on a one way flight home. You have to sign 10,000 forms to buy a house, before wasting time filling out all the forms lets see proof of citizenship. No proof put them on a one way flight home. Renting a home or apartment. No proof put them on a one way flight home. Buying an item that you have to get a loan for, lets see some proof of citizenship. No proof put them on a one way flight home. Applying for a job, no proof put them on a one way flight home. Hiring someone new to work in any business, no proof put them on a one way flight home.

It should be the patriotic duty of every citizen in the country to report illegals to the appropriate authority and get them on a one way flight home. The cost of a ticket will save billions of dollars paid by We The People through taxation. Just make it impossible or at least very difficult for illegals to move around the country. Making it difficult rather than rolling out the red carpet will put a serious crimp in their plan to take advantage of American generosity that has been put in place for legal citizens. Force them to immigrate legally. Legal immigration promotes good citizenship and pride to be an American.

Allowing illegals to access taxpayer dollars for food, clothing, lodging, health care, social security and education is shear idiocy. Our brilliant politicians are saying it is just fine for these illegals to access the system and to accommodate this cost they just raise taxes on We The People. Really how stupid do these people, just like you and me, we have elected and put into office to represent us think we are? Federal and state representatives and senators, governors and presidents who don't see the false economy here need to be voted out of office - NOW. Beginning with the next election you are participating in. It doesn't matter if they are republican or democrat or independent. If they are unable to see this problem and see how easy it would be to put some simple rules into place to rut out these illegals they need to be voted out of office. Instead put someone in office who will get serious about this problem.

So before we start thinking about bailouts. Lets cut the budget and force the government to function within their means. Then lets clean house and see to it that US Citizens benefit from being a US Citizen by ridding our country of those who would take advantage of an overly generous nation.

Go to the Bank

If the car industry or the financial industry needs money, go to the bank and get a loan like everyone else. If a bank won't give them money why would We The People? Any of our elected representatives who vote to bail out these industry's don't deserve re-election. It's just that simple.

If It's to Be It's Up to Me! Rather Up to Us!!!!

It is just getting difficult to take any more. By and large the voting public has no idea what's going on as it relates to what their elected representatives, senators, governors and presidents are doing to our nation and states. I think at least half the people just vote for people or issues based on 30-60 second sound bytes, what a candidate looks like and who promises them the most goodies. I just wonder how many voters actually check out their candidates and study what they believe, stand for, how they have voted in the past and what their ideological bent is and the effects these beliefs will have on our nation.

How can we the people put people in office who spend our hard earned money without even giving it a thought. The BailOut for instance. How is it every year they, our elected representation, spend more money than they confiscate through taxes? Then to fix the shortfall they just create new taxes or raise existing ones. How long would you and I last if we lived outside our budget all the time.

We are slowly giving up our freedoms so insidiously you hardly notice it unless you are looking. What happened to our unalienable rights granted by our creator of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Why is more and more government intruding into our lives from every angle? Who does the government, we the people represented by those we elected, think they are telling businesses how to make a product and how much they can charge for it. What happened to the cornerstones of our nation? I think it was something called capitalism and free markets.

These examples are just a tease of the massive government intrusion into our personal, business and professional lives. I really don't care if the elected official is democrat or republican. Their actions as they say are louder than words. Are these individuals enacting laws limiting our freedoms and shackling our markets. Or are they removing these barriers allowing the free market to function without any interference. Our country doesn't need any government help, it just doesn't need government interference.

Our elected representatives of, we the people, need to understand the thought behind and original intent of the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. To tell you the truth it appears to me that 90% of our elected representatives of we the people haven't a clue presidents included.

The entire population of the USA needs an indepth course in US History and Civics 101. We need to reestablish that which made us great! I am afraid if we don't do so soon we may loose our great nation. That's why this The Second Revolution is so important. Let's all educate ourselves and our neighbors. Lets take back our country with ballets on election day with informed representation. An informed country is the only weapon we have to take back what our forefathers gave us to protect, with their lives. Along with all those since the First Revolution who have sacrificed defending and protecting the constitution of these United States.

We can do this. It starts now. Please lets get this blog going, their is strenght in numbers.
